When will I receive my house number?

How durable is my house number?
Unless a product says otherwise, we manufacture in aluminium, stainless steel or mild steel. With proper cleaning and care these materials are built to last for years outdoors.
Coastal areas: We treat and coat products to help resist rust and corrosion, but coastal weather still challenges any metal fixture. For coastal installs we recommend stainless steel.
Do you do custom designs?

Which fixing method should I use?
In most cases we recommend stand-off brackets (included unless otherwise specified). They leave a gap behind the plate, reduce dirt build-up, ease cleaning, and allow optional LED backlighting later.
Which payment methods do you accept?
PayFast or bank deposit. If bank deposit is chosen and payment isn’t made within 21 days, the order is cancelled.
Where are installations available?
Gauteng installation is +R570. For other regions in South Africa, special arrangements may apply and may cost more.
How do I clean my house number?
Products are coated for durability. Wipe with a damp cloth and a suitable cleaner. For a brushed finish, wipe gently with the grain.
Which design changes may occur when my sign is manufactured?
Minor changes may be needed for laser-cut strength and quality, including:
- Joins — e.g. centres of letters like “o” must connect or they fall out
- Edge bends — larger plates may be bent on the edge for rigidity in transport and install
- Alignment — we may tweak letter/word alignment after online customisation
- Powder-coat colour — may vary slightly from the on-site preview; ask for real-life examples or view the gallery
How does the process work?
- Order & confirmation — choose a design, customise, and pay (or confirm a fully custom design, then pay)
- Cutting — we finalise laser-cut compatibility and cut the plate
- Coating — colour coat for aluminium, mild steel and standard stainless; clear coat for brushed stainless
- Quality control — we inspect after coating; recoating if needed may delay delivery
- Delivery / installation — shipped with fixings, or installed if you requested it
- Follow-up — we aim to check you’re satisfied and remain contactable for questions
What lighting options do you offer?
Catalogue options: None; Warm White 220V; Cool White 220V; Solar Warm White; Solar Cool White.
On Custom Sign: none, 220V or solar, in warm or cool. Lighting is priced separately from the sign.
Does installation include electrical connection of backlighting?
No. We can supply backlighting with the house number, but a professional electrician should connect 220V lighting.
